54-year-old Mike Tyson is making pretty big moves outside the boxing circle. Although he remains active or at least seems, as a boxer, he is also trying his shots in the cinematic universe. While Tyson has already appeared in several hit Hollywood flicks, he will reportedly now act in an Indian movie. The film is still under process and most probably will feature the American boxer in a big role.

According to the reports of tollywood.media.9.com, Indian actor Vijay Deverakonda will act in the main role of the film titled ‘Liger’. Deverakonda is already a superstar in the Asian subcontinent, with a massive 12.2 million followers on Instagram. Indian director Puri Jagannath will direct the film in the south Indian dialect.

Although Mike Tyson is yet to unveil the news officially, it has already sent the combat world into a frenzy. Simultaneously, Indian fans are also excited to catch a glimpse of the KO-artist alongside one of their favorite actors. The movie ‘Liger’ will reportedly revolve around boxing and Deverakonda’s lead role would possibly urge him to lace up the gloves.

It’s still not official whether Tyson will be playing himself in the movie. But the veteran boxer can potentially play the mentor to Deverakonda’s character. Even if Mike Tyson gets a small screen time, his presence would still mean a lot the marketing of the movie.
