Regarding Roach Jr.’s net worth in 2025, details are scarce. However, there appears to be a near unanimity of sorts that it could be above $1 million. While ‘Sport Salaries’ mentioned $1.1 million, ‘College Net Worth’ suggested anywhere between $1 million and $5 million.

It’s understandable, given the fact that he has been fighting for over a decade; boxing should be Lamont Roach Jr.’s main source of income. But he is known for a few endorsement deals as well. On the ‘Bag Fuel’ podcast, Roach Jr. spoke about the way professional boxers get paid. Additionally, he shared how he provided promotional facilities to various sponsors. “Mainly my canvas would be, um, my canvas would definitely be my trunks, and probably the robe and top that I’m wearing to the fight might be a hat that I might exclusively put one sponsor,said the super featherweight champion.

In 2018, he challenged Orlando Cruz for the WBO International belt. The fight ended in a draw. But Lamont Roach Jr. returned a few months later to claim the title, which was vacant at the time. By December, his first title defense followed. With $25,000 for each fight, his total purse for that year touched $75,000.

Things improved further when he fought Jonathan Oquendo on May 4, 2019. His own title and the WBO-NABO super featherweight title were at stake. The victory made Lamont Roach Jr. richer by $50,000. But later that year, on November 9, Roach Jr. suffered his first and only setback.

His first attempt at a world title caved in when former world champion Jamel Herring defeated him unanimously. Nevertheless, Roach Jr. received his first three-figure payout – $175,000. In 2020 he fought only once, a non-title bout against Neil John Tabanao, and took around $75,000. In 2021 he fought twice and generated aggregate earnings of approximately $175,000.

Activity-wise, 2022 proved lackluster. But the non-title fight against Angel Rodriguez proved profitable as it rewarded him with a $100,000 purse. Returning a year later, Roach Jr. finally realized his dream of becoming a world champion. Pulling a split decision in his favor, he defeated Hector Garcia and became the new WBA super featherweight title holder. Fetching him a $150,000 purse, moneywise, it proved to be a lucrative deal.

Last year, when he defended his hard-won belt from Feargal McCrory, Lamont Roach Jr. received his biggest payday – $200,000. Given that he is fighting one of boxing’s biggest stars on Saturday night, ‘The Reaper’ could be looking at a windfall.
