30 fights, 30 victories, 28 knockouts, and world titles in three different weight divisions! Gervonta Davis might be the only true boxing superstar of the current generation. The hard-hitting southpaw has been ruling the boxing world ever since he made his debut 12 years ago and on March 1st, he will be looking to add another distinction to his illustrious career.

While a bout against Lamont Roach Jr. doesn’t sound like a spectacle, it is a big deal for Tank, given the fact that 2025 might be his last year in boxing. The 30-year-old has already amassed a substantial net worth in his outstanding career and would like to earn as much as he can before bowing out of the sport for good. If we look at his past decisions and endorsements, we can expect another blockbuster year for the WBA lightweight champion.

Gervonta Davis’ 2025 net worth & endorsements

According to celeritynetworth.com, Gervonta Davis’ net worth is expected to be around a whopping $10 million. Given the fact that he is one of the most celebrated athletes in his generation, Tank has attracted some of the biggest brands in the sports world. He signed an exclusive partnership deal with Under Armour in 2017. As the sportswear company is based out of Baltimore, Maryland, the partnership was a massive deal for both parties. Under Armour announced the signing right after Gervonta Davis’ 18th fight where he knocked out Britain’s Liam Walsh. It is still one of the coolest partnership announcements the boxing world has ever seen.

Furthermore, the 30-0 boxer has exclusive deals with massive brands like Nike, Reebok, John Greiges, etc. While the exact financial details regarding his agreements are not revealed, they must have contributed significantly to improving his net worth. However, in a decade-long career, it is fair to assume that the Marylander has made most of his money through fights.

How much does Gervonta Davis make per fight? Purse history

Gervonta Davis made his professional debut in 2013. However, his rise to stardom came in 2017, when he captured the IBF super featherweight title. Since then, his career has been on an upward trajectory. While details about his purse history from his earlier fights are not available, we can look at some of his recent purse history.

Arguably, his biggest bout came against Ryan Garcia in 2023. The fight generated almost $100 million in revenue and reportedly Gervonta Davis was promised a $5 million purse for the fight. However, his total earnings surpassed that amount as he took home nearly $40 million, while Garcia also had a huge payday of nearly $30 million.

That was and is still the Baltimorean’s highest-ever earning for a fight. Four months earlier, for his bout against Hector Luis Garcia, Davis received a guaranteed purse of $1.5 million and a 60% share in the PPV earnings. He also had a solid payday against Rolando Romero, where he earned a guaranteed $2 million in purse split. In the usual fashion, he took home 60% of the PPV shares making his final take $5 million.

In 2019, Gervonta Davis received his first 7-figure guaranteed payday when he fought Yuriorkis Gamboa. While the guaranteed amount was set at $1 million, Tank also had a 55% PPV split. He earned the same amount when he fought Leo Santa Cruz a few months later.

He only fought once in 2020. However, he made a solid comeback in June 2021 against Mario Barrios. He reportedly earned $1 million in a guaranteed purse with a 60% PPV share for the bout, making his earnings roughly $5 million. For his December 5 2021 bout against Isaac Cruz, he reportedly earned $1 million. Once again, his total payout exceeded that amount as he took home $2.3 million. His earlier fight purses and PPV shares are as follows:

  • Vs. Ricardo Nunez, July 27, 2019 – Guaranteed purse, $750,000, PPV share – 60%

  • Vs. Hugo Ruiz, February 9m 2019 – Guaranteed purse – $500,000, PPV share – 50%

  • Vs. Jesus Cuellar, April 21, 2018 – Guaranteed purse – $400,000, PPV share – 50%

  • Vs. Francisco Fonseca, August 26, 2017 – Guaranteed purse – $600,000, PPV share – 55%

While his payday against Lamont Roach is still under wraps, we can expect it to be similar to his last fight against Frank Martin. For that bout, Gervonta Davis had a $2 million guaranteed purse with the total payout expected to be around $10 million. Given that the Baltimorean is a bigger star compared to Roach, he will once again claim the majority from the PPV split.

After March 1, Gervonta Davis will likely target fights that earn him far more than his usual, maybe a potential fight against Jake Paul or Shakur Stevenson. Who knows, but it will be interesting to see. What do you think? Let us know your thoughts down below.
