YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul is making headlines once more, this time taking aim at former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson with his latest antics. Paul and Tyson faced off on Sunday at the Fanatics Fest in the New York City press conference for the first time since their fight was postponed because of Tyson’s health scare during a cross-country flight earlier this year.
It was immediately clear that Tyson wasn’t taking the whole situation as seriously as Paul was, which indirectly implied that he didn’t see the former Disney Star as much of a threat. During their face-off, the 58-year-old stirred up the pot by playfully shoving Paul and found it hilarious when Paul shoved him back. However, Paul wasn’t about to take this insult sitting down. So, his sports betting app Betr shared a clip of Paul today on social media, which showed the 27-year-old imitating Tyson’s push during their face-off.

While sharing the clip, Betr wrote, “Jake Paul’s impression of Mike Tyson pushing him.” Meanwhile, they had shared two clips—one showed Paul mocking Tyson shoving him in the press conference while the other clip was the actual footage from Sunday’s press conference. While Paul used this to mock Tyson, the former heavyweight champion took a different route.

Sharing pictures from their face-off, Tyson wrote, “I love meeting my fans.” The duo was originally slated to face each other on 20th July, but Tyson’s health scare postponed the fight to November 15th this year at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, to be streamed live on Netflix. Regardless, when fans discovered Paul’s clip on X, let’s just say he didn’t get the reaction he was hoping for.

Another user seems to have run into an issue with Paul’s sports betting app and demanded they take action. “Fix your withdrawal process,” the user wrote. Notably, Betr offers betting services on a variety of sports, where people can make money.
Someone else didn’t waste much time branding Jake Paul a sad human being while asking him to fight someone his own age. The user wrote, “What a sad human. Box a fighter his age – Tyson is 58.” Jake Paul has shown a pattern of behavior where he fights retired MMA fighters or lesser-known boxers outside their prime.

While others were a bit civil discussing the topic, this user threw that out of the window. “@jakepaul is a b**ch,” the user declared. While Paul has seen quick success in the sport, the number of his critics has also grown, resulting in such responses.
With more than a couple of months left in their mega cross-generational bout, it appears not everyone is on board with the unique matchup. However, chances are the fight will proceed as scheduled unless Tyson suffers another health scare. Meanwhile, what did you think of Paul’s imitation?
