Only a couple of weeks separate the return of Canelo Alvarez to the squared circle. The Mexican champion is ready to entertain the fans and put on a show for them, as he defends his unified straps against Edgar Berlanga. But how much will it cost you to watch the action up close? It seems like it will be a fortune.
Alvarez, 34, will fight it out with another hot, young prospect in Berlanga, 27, on September 14 at the T-Mobile Arena. The fight’s promotion is riding high on the emotions of the Mexico vs. Puerto Rico rivalry and the allure of another heavy-handed challenger ready to take the throne for himself. However, the cost of the PPV might dissuade some fans.

A user noted the fans wouldn’t buy the event because Noche UFC was on the same night. It would divide the combat sports fans. In addition, Noche UFC will be held at Sphere, a location that has captivated the fans’ imagination. They speculated, “No ones ordering this let’s be honest. UFC sphere is also that same night.”
Someone blasted the prices, as the undercard had an aging Caleb Plant and lacked big names and intriguing fights. They announced, “Lmao what a rip off.”
However, a comment lauded the PBC’s production quality for the events. The comment read, “The fight card is solid and the overall production, fighter interviews, announcing teams, and the in ring product will be better than any other promotion’s PPV. PBC wins again.”
