‘What a Joke’: Fans Irate As Oleksandr Usyk Shows Up at Tyson Fury’s Event After Declining To Fight ‘The Gypsy King’

Tyson Fury announced after hanging up his gloves  earlier this year that he would only return for the undisputed title fight. Unfortunately, it did not happen because when he proposed a fight to the new unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk after the rematch with Anthony Joshua, the latter turned it down,

‘The Gypsy King‘ wanted to make it happen this year only but Usyk was not in the mood. He wanted a decent time period to prepare for this possible clash. He wanted to bring a tough battle on the WBC heavyweight champion, who is regarded as one of the greatest heavyweight champions of all time.

As a result, the 34-year-old hunted a new opponent in the division and finally decided to lock horns with his old rival Dereck Chisora. The duo will meet this weekend at Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London. Though the event is not seen as iconic, the Ukrainian’s arrival in London for the fight has made fans curious.

Michael Benson of talk sports shared Usyk’s arrival clip on Twitter. He wrote, “Oleksandr Usyk has arrived in London ahead of Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora 3 tonight.”

His arrival has made certain that his eyes are on Fury’s fight. He wanted to meet him with a proper plan.
