Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo‘s fight is about to kick off and the challenger is cutting no corners to be in the best shape possible. The undisputed junior middleweight champion is making a big jump to move up weight divisions and face, ‘Saul.’ However, he could not appear more confident ahead of the bout. Meanwhile, the undisputed super middleweight champion will be fighting under the ‘PBC,’ banner for the first time.
The betting odds, including a substantial section of boxing fans, have the 33-year-old as the favorite. Moreover, when a video surfaced online of Charlo training with Roy Jones Jr., the fans had their say. Jones Jr. is one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. The 54-year-old had a celebrated career that lasted for decades and retired with a record of 66 victories with only 10 defeats.

How do the fans perceive Jermell Charlo being trained by Roy Jones Jr.?
A post was made by Jones Jr. on his Instagram account a day ago. In the video, the former heavyweight champion is standing next to Charlo and is showing him different techniques to throw a body shot on the heavy bag. In the caption of the post, he expressed, “I love teaching those willing to learn!!!”

Witnessing this, a fan was reminded of an iconic lyric from a song made by Jones Jr. himself. He stated, “Can’t be touched Can’t be stopped can’t be shaken we hot.”

While one fan noticed Jones Jr. was training with slippers on and thought it to be impressive. He stated, “Roy Jones Jr., so good he trained you with his slippers on”
Another fan thinks Charlo being trained by him is a blessing. He stated, “What a blessing to learn from a superior legend among legends. Man, I wish I could learn there.”
On the contrary, one fan was left unimpressed by seeing Charlo throw those punches. He stated. “What was that had Roy so excited?? It was a double left thrown poorly. It wasn’t compact at all.”
