Ryan Garcia suffered his first-ever defeat against Gervonta Davis on April 22nd. The bout was called out by the referee in the seventh round after he took a vicious body shot by, ‘Tank.’ However, the bout was a big financial success. Just few weeks ago, it was reported in the boxing world that, ‘Kingry,’ took home around $3o Million from his fight against Davis.
In a tweet, he further clarified that he is grateful for being part of the fight despite the defeat. In addition, he revealed that the entire event generated upward of $100 Million in revenue. Needless to say, Garcia continues to be a top draw and teases the fans with an exciting announcement about his future.

What lies ahead for Ryan Garcia?
After his last bout, Garcia hinted at moving up a weight division and competing in the super-lightweight division. Not to mention, the WBA super-lightweight champion, Rolando Romero has been vocal about fighting Garcia for the title. Garcia, on the other hand, has also expressed interest to face Romero. Intriguingly, the two sparred together years ago. Amidst this discussion, Garcia on his Instagram story teased an announcement, it stated, “We are working on something big”

A couple of months ago, Garcia revealed his next three potential opponents. On Twitter, he stated, “3 people I want to fight next, Rollies *they just ordered for him to fight someone else Isaac Cruz *if he’s willing to go to 140 Teofimo López *depending on the outcome”
