Adrien Broner backs Gervonta Davis with a strongly worded message
In a pair of Instagram stories, Broner defended Davis claiming that this was all a ruse to destroy his name. However, he urged ‘Tank’ to hold tight as things worked themselves out. “Keep your head up @Gervontaa the devil trying his best to stop you but he can’t stop gods plan. I love you bro,” he wrote.
Moreover, in another story, he stated that Davis was only been charged with the crime, but is yet to be convicted. “Everybody posting that weak sh*t about my lil Brotha. Man but he only been charged he haven’t been convicted of a crime yet chill out,” he wrote.
Broner certainly thinks that Davis is innocent which isn’t surprising, given how close the two have been over the years. However, the full details of this case are yet to be disclosed which is why Broner feels that people should refrain from hurling accusations.

The 2-division champion shared his side of the story in a statement on his Instagram. In the post, he claimed that he was being framed and was not guilty of any of the crimes he’s been charged with. “I never put hands on my child mother nor my fu***ng daughter are you fu****g crazy. I am not a monster.” he wrote.
He further detailed why he came out with this statement adding that he doesn’t have a media team behind him to protect his image. This was the reason why he had to take matters into his own hands and speak up for himself. Davis is certainly in a pickle right now and will be appearing a lot in court this year. Moreover, his anticipated fight against Ryan Garcia could also get canceled if he is convicted of the crime.
