The modern-day heavyweight boxing roster has some elite names in the form of Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, and more. Out of all the other contenders, Fury and Joshua rank at the top and they’re the obvious center of attractions. Moreover, as both the British warriors share a cosmic rift with each other, fans are supremely eager to see them fight for all the titles on the line.

A few months back, a fight between these two was almost on the brink of taking place. However, because of some external factors, this contest fell through. Despite not being next for the other, both Fury and Joshua haven’t spared a single chance to mock each other. Recently, the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight king, ‘AJ’, went all out against his fellow compatriot.

As per Michael Benson, Joshua said, “We know his history. He pulled out of a couple of fights, it just happens. He’s someone who pulls out of fights. Even with the Wilder situation it happened again. Good luck to him and we’ll see him some time. When he’s ready, we’ll be here waiting.”

Fury is now set to face Deontay Wilder in a trilogy bout on October 9. This fight would have happened in July 2021 itself, but as ‘The Gypsy King’ tested positive for Covid-19, he had to withdraw from this fight. Consequently, Joshua saw an opportunity here to mock Fury.
