On July 25th Stephen Fulton will defend his unified Bantamweight status against the former undisputed champion of his division, Naoya Inoue. While Inoue is currently 24-0, Fulton, on the other hand, is 21-0 in the sport. However, interestingly while Fulton has won 38.1% of fights via knockout, Inoue has won 87.5% of his bouts via knockouts in the ring. In addition, even though Inoue is the crowd-favorite, Fulton has earned his shot against the Japanese boxer.
Speed and power mark Inoue’s explosive style. On the other hand, Fulton is determined to turn his doubters into believers with his upcoming performance inside the Ariake Arena. As mentioned, both boxers have built commendable resumes in the sport with years of labor and perseverance. Hence, as the duo inch closer to their fight, fans cannot help but get excited.

After the intense face-off between Inoue and Fulton ahead of the fight, a number of fans took to Twitter and expressed their thoughts regarding the upcoming bout. A fan unable to hold their excitement said, “WE HAVE A FIGHT‼️ , I’m up early Tuesday for this one“.

Similarly, another called Fulton and Inoue “Amazing fighters” and hoped to see them “deliver [an] amazing fight“. “Just sit back and enjoy,” they added.

However, a fan declared that they would not watch it. They feared that in case the fight went the distance, the less-active boxer would get the decision. “Sad times for boxing,” they added saying.

Meanwhile, irrespective of Fulton’s performance against Figueroa, a fan believes, “he can pull this off”.
