Boxing star Ryan Garcia has been embroiled in numerous scandals lately, which has further aggravated his mental state. It all started after his victory over Devin Haney in April, which was ruled as a no-contest, and the NYSAC even banned KingRY for one year due to the use of PEDs. Following that, he started stirring up controversies online, which sparked a heated debate among his followers and the media. In the middle of this, two-division undisputed champion Terence Crawford has shed some light on Garcia’s situation.
‘Bud’ will be seen squaring off against Israil Madrimov on August 3rd, at the BMO Stadium in LA. Ahead of that, he appeared on Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast where he spoke about how the people around Garcia should make sure about keeping him on the right track.

The pound-for-pound great has been through a rough patch himself since he grew up in a seedy neighborhood in Omaha, Nebraska, he knows how much importance one’s surroundings play. Impaulsive co-host Mike Majlak mentioned how Garcia is tangled up in fighting his inner demons and asked Crawford, “Do you ever try to reach out to people like that? And kinda set him straight.” However, ‘Bud’ insisted that Garcia’s friends and team should be the ones to explain Garcia, not him.
The 36-year-old stated, “Nah, not really. You know, I don’t have a relationship with him like that. So, that’s not my place.” He went on to ask a hard-hitting question to Garcia’s team and said, “The guys that surround him, for you to call yourself a friend, a brother, cousin, to watch a man like that self-destruct, what type of friend are you?” The Omaha native continued to say that everyone in his camp cares about him so much, that they would never let him go down the wrong path. As a matter of fact, this is not the first time that Bud has appreciated his team. Check out Crawford explaining what’s so special about his team.

Ahead of his fight with Errol Spence Jr. last year, Bud took the opportunity to appreciate his team during the grand arrivals. He stated, “It’s always special to have the ones that came up with me from the ground up to be sitting here on the stage with me. You know me and Steven from kids to fighting in the park to fighting on a big stage in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s nothing like it.”
Well, currently, Bud and his team are focussing on his upcoming bout with Madrimov. After that, there’s a high chance that they would chase a mega fight against Canelo Alvarez.
