Jake Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer, will be squaring up against the 35-year-old professional boxer Andre August. Scheduled for December 15 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. Paul briefly stepped away from boxing following his defeat to Tommy Fury in February. During this hiatus, he explored other ventures, including signing a deal to make his MMA debut with PFL, though the debut is still pending.

Paul returned to the boxing ring in August for a bout against Nate Diaz before gearing up for his upcoming showdown with Andre August. Now, there’s just a week in between, before both these fighters engage in one-to-one combat. Paul reminded fans about the fight on his social media, and the fans didn’t show much interest in the contest.

In his recent X post, ‘The Problem Child’ announced that his fight would be streaming free of charge on DAZN Boxing, so basically anybody with a DAZN subscription would be able to watch the fight. Still, the fans decided to invest their time somewhere else.

One of the fans stated that this bout looks like it’s an undercard fight and the main card is still yet to be announced.

Another fan talked about how the fight is hardly going to generate any revenue, since almost no one is talking about this showdown.

One fan remarked that most of them would already be busy watching the sparring live-stream between KSI and IShowSpeed on that day.

A fan made a joke about the fight being rent-free because of its venue which is a resort hotel in Orlando, Florida.

An X user stated that the fight was not at all free and that they had to pay $20 to watch this fight between Paul and August.

According to the reactions in the comment section, fans probably wouldn’t be turning up for the recent Jake Paul fight. It might be interesting to note that he chose a venue where there are only 4,400 seats. Moreover, the fight is not even on PPV. Paul has also given his reasons behind doing this.
