The British former professional strongman Eddie Hall dominated the world of strength athletics. He also won the title of the World’s Strongest Man in 2017. A sheer powerhouse, the giant has many more accolades to his name. Not to mention, he is also a boxer and an actor. However, in his latest video on Instagram, it is his son who steals the limelight, showcasing how he is on the path to taking the lineage forward.

The strongman posted a video on his Instagram, where his son Max is seen crushing his first deadlift.
Hall wrote in the caption, “Max’s first deadlift. He has a long way to go with technique and back positioning etc but we’re going to stick at this weight until he’s got it perfected and then start to move up!!! But 50kg for his first deadlift is awesome.”

Notably, Eddy Hall stepped into a professional boxing match for the first time in March 2022. He squared off with another giant, Hafthor Bjornsson, which was billed as “The Heaviest Boxing Match in History”. Eventually, after a brutal fight, the latter won the bout via decision.

Hall told the Radio Times, “It was a hell of a challenge to go from strongman to boxer. You know, when I signed the contract, I was 175 kilos in bodyweight and then dropped back down to near enough 140, so wanted to lose like 30-something kilos in the space of two years.”

He further added, “I caught COVID twice – once at the very, very start of 2021. I had it really bad and was on my back for three months. Then I got COVID just before the fight as well. So that f***ed me over in terms of like fitness.”
