Floyd Mayweather will go down in history as one of the greatest boxers ever. The 44-year-old built up one of the most successful careers in the sport of boxing. In 50 professional bouts, Mayweather has never once tasted defeat or even had a draw.
In an interview on FOX in 2013, the interviewer asks Floyd Mayweather about another such legend of the sport, Mike Tyson. “Well, I commend Tyson, coz he’s one of the guys that paved the way for me to be where I’m at.”

“You know, he’s a legendary champion, and the only thing I have to say about Mike Tyson is everyone is always trying to judge Mike Tyson. He lived his life the way he wanted to live, his life. No one can say what they would have done if they were in his shoes.”
Mike Tyson was so vicious inside the ring that most of his opponents would get scared of his mere presence. That was the kind of knockout power and speed that ‘Iron’ Mike possessed. Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, on the other hand, is one of the most technically sound and defensively gifted boxers the sport has ever seen.
