With only 17 days to go for what is one of the biggest fights of the year, Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Teofimo Lopez looks like a cracker. In a video posted by Top Rank Boxing on twitter, the fighters in the undercard are shown training their heart out on heavy bags and working speedbags to prepare for their fights.

The video, posted a couple of hours ago, was captioned “#LomaLopez cast of supporting characters getting ready to put on a show Oct.17”

In the most anticipated fight of the season, WBA (Super), WBO, and The Ring lightweight titleholder Vasiliy Lomachenko (14-1, 10 KOs) will look to defend and unify his titles against the IBF lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez on October 17.

Going by this video, it looks like the main event isn’t the only fight we need to watch out for. These thrilling match-ups underway will definitely make the fans tune-in.

Who are the participants in the undercard bouts for Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Teofimo Lopez?

The first bout will be in an eight-round contest in the super-middleweight division between knockout artist Edgar Berlanga (14-0, 14 KOs) and veteran Lanell Bellows (20-5-3, 13 KOs). Berlanga has finished all his fights in the very first round of his professional career. Bellows, however, will look to put an end to his streak and stop him right in his tracks.

In a 10-round junior welterweight bout, former world title challenger Alex Saucedo (30-1, 19 KOs) will face Arnold Barboza Jr. (24-0, 10 KOs).  It will be a battle between two all out brawlers who will look for the finish. With over 50 fights together under their belt, both boxers come with oodles of experience. This exciting co-feature will surely serve as a solid appetizer for the fans before the main event.

The event will take place inside the MGM Grand (Bubble), Las Vegas.
