Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2024 was a tad bit too spicy this year. From Usain Bolt being taken out on a stretcher to flying obscene gestures, the event saw it all. But what flared up the emotions, albeit humorously, was an exchange between two old, fierce rivals: KSI and Tommy Fury. While KSI took his seat in the stands, the British boxer lined up for the World XI.
Before the action could go down on the field, Fury, 25, had an intense stare-down with the Sidemen star. He seemed to have spotted his former opponent in the ring, whom he handed a defeat in a controversial decision last October. A video that made the rounds on the internet recently, captured the hilarious exchange.
In the clip, the fans can see Randolph, a regular on Sidemen’s YouTube channel, telling KSI that Fury was looking at him. He attracted KSI’s attention as he declared, “Tommy Fury, JJ, Looking straight at you.” The British rapper, initially dumbfounded at the development, then unloaded a passionate lewd gesture at Fury. Randolph, swept by the amusing reaction, encouraged his friend to continue the same and added, “Yeah, you tell him. You got him. Yeah up that. Up that.”

However, it seemed Randolph played a trick and jabbed KSI to evoke intense emotions, as it appeared that Fury’s gaze towards KSI was incidental and wavering here and there. It could be pre-match jitters for the Manchester native, who was making a return to Soccer Aid after taking on the pitch last year too. Meanwhile, the event failed to impress KSI. The 30-year-old wasn’t dazzled by the star-studded lineups and how the former soccer stars failed to put on a show for the fans.
“…That was an awful and boring watch… Would much rather it just be influencers and entertainers play. Would make the game a lot closer too and more enjoyable to watch as a viewer,” KSI wrote in an X post. Besides, the London native, who has been away from action since the Fury fight, is finalizing his comeback bout. But there is a twist.

KSI eyes a return to the square circle with a 2 vs 1 fight
KSI, at 4-1 (1 NC), expressed his desire to meet Anthony Taylor and Slim Albaher in a 2 vs. 1 Misfits boxing fight on August 31. His public challenge also came with an ultimatum of 24 hours, which has expired since. He had declared, “So, I will be fighting Slim [Albaher] and Anthony Taylor in a 2 vs. 1 handicap tag team match. Both of you against me.”
The British influencer is also in talks to get to the biggest fight of his career, as he brokers terms with Amir Khan. The former world champion hung up his gloves a couple of years ago but is now trying to ride the crossover boxing wave. The two have yet to reach an agreement, but signs are encouraging.
