Ryan Garcia is furious. The American boxer was asked to throw out the ceremonial first pitches on Tuesday when the New York Mets took on the Pittsburgh Pirates at Citi Field. However, the officials soon asked him to leave the arena. What exactly happened?

‘KingRy’ and Devin Haney both had to throw the ceremonial throws. But the officials showed him the exit. Garcia, 25, vented his frustration at the situation and urged his fans not to attend any Mets games. What did he say?

Ryan Garcia turned to his X-handle and, in a clip, revealed that Mets officials asked them not to throw. He also admitted that his team was kicked out. The fans can see him walking out of the arena along with Oscar De La Hoya in the video, captioned, “F*CK TOU STUPID MUCKS.”

The 24-1 record holder said, “Hello guys, the Mets just wasted 3 hours of our life to say at the end, ‘We can’t throw at the pitch’ for whatever reason. There was no reason. And they kicked us out for no reason. Everybody I personally gonna say, ‘F*ck the Mets’. Don’t ever go to Mets game again. F*ck the mets.”

Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix believes that the officials “pulled the plug” on their pitch to avoid any spillage at the arena. The pair had clashed before their ceremonial pitch, and the officials feared another incident. He disclosed, “I’m told by sources w/direct knowledge, because they didn’t want to risk an incident on the field. Haney and Garcia, who will face off Saturday at Barclays Center, scuffled at the Empire State Building earlier today.”

In their viral clip faceoff at the Empire State Building, Haney and Garcia exchanged verbal bombs. But it was Haney who lost his temper and pushed his opponent. The tensions are already soaring ahead of their bout on April 20. Before they step foot inside the Barclays Center, they have another pressing issue. Their ticket sales have stalled, and there are empty seats whenever people check for seat availability.

During the media workout in Dallas, Garcia gave his unfiltered take on why ticket sales have taken a hit. He believes that the prices were “too high.” He continued, “I don’t think many Americans can afford $500 or $300 top row tickets.”

The Victorville native has been vocal about Devin’s lack of star power. He also labeled him as having no attraction and further told the media that he was carrying the promotion on his back. But it remains to be seen whether they will sell out the arena or have to take a lighter paycheck home.
