A boxing match provides the fans with top-notch entertainment. One witnesses profound action, unexpected outcomes and ubiquitous occurrences providing a wave of adrenaline to the viewer. Think about it: two trained fighters put it all on the line, and attempt to knock each other out. It is one of the most primal forms of exhilaration known to mankind. Since time immemorial, many spectacular knockouts have been witnessed by the boxing world. However, it is yet to witness a double knockdown. It is a rare occurrence for both boxers to land a significant punch simultaneously and knock each other down. A double knockdown creates a captivating and dramatic moment. Last Saturday, the boxing world witnessed another double knockdown.

Khalil Coe and Buneet Bisla fought against one another on 24 June in Jersey City, New Jersey. Coe was the victor as he managed to secure a finish in the seventh round and defeated Bisla. However, in the first round, Coe and Bisla traded their right hands and landed down on the pipe of their jaw which knocked both of them down simultaneously. While Bisla was completely on his back, Coe, on the other hand, landed on his knees. The snippet of the same went viral which sent shockwaves across the boxing world.

A double knockdown excites the fans

Boxing fans enjoy witnessing a stoppage and especially a knockdown. One can only imagine how thrilling it would be to witness not just one knockdown but two.  @IFLTV took to Twitter and posted the snippet of the double knockdown with the caption, “What’s better than one knockdown? A double knockdown”

One fan Urso got reminded about the time Mike Tyson knocked down Trevor Berbick in their bout which lead to Berbick trying to get up but eventually falling down on the canvas twice. He stated, “Mike Tyson scored a triple knockdown against Trevor Berbick.”

Another fan Mark Hardie questions if it is a double knockdown as it must be called by the referee. He stated, “If called”

While, fan Leo was simply amazed and had a one word reaction. He stated, “Damn”
