Did Mike Tyson just prove he's still the baddest man on the planet with that response?

It’s been almost 19 years since heavyweight legend Mike Tyson competed professionally. His last professional bout was against Kevin McBride in 2005. Now, fifty-eight-year-old Mike Tyson will return to the ring again to trade punches with Jake Paul on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. However, the version of Tyson who fought in the 90s till the early 2000s, is very different from who he is now.

From an angry young man with a chip on his shoulder, he has transformed into a gentle giant who is at peace with both himself and the world around him. In the latest episode of Impaulsive, host Logan Paul, with his co-host Mike Majlak, sat down with Mike Tyson to talk about the upcoming Jake Paul fight. Amid the conversation, Majlak’s attempt to rile up Tyson fell flat on its face as the latter’s response took the sting out of what possibly could have been a tense situation.

Mike Tyson isn’t as volatile as he used to be. However, the co-host of the Impaulsive show, Majlak, wanted a short demo of Tyson’s anger. “Is there any chance we can just get you to say something quickly for just 10 seconds of old-school 1990s Mike? Can you just say some really f**ked-up sh*t?” Subsequently, Majlak put on a Jake Paul mask and started trash-talking Tyson. “Yo, Mike I’m the ‘Problem Child’ and I’mma f**k you up and I’m gonna f**k all the fans up too after.”

However, Majlak failed to provoke ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’. Not taking Majlak’s posturing with any sort of seriousness, Tyson’s hilarious response was: “You look like Aquaman!”

Safe to say, he is keeping all his anger in reserve for fight night. During the same conversation, Tyson revealed how he is still “haunted” by his own aggressive conqueror mindset that caused a lot of trouble for him outside of the squared circle during his ‘Iron Mike’ era.

Inner Demon is here to stay!

During his professional career, Mike Tyson always found himself in trouble with the law. Much of it had to do with his uncontrollable anger. Although the anger worked in his favor inside the ring, outside of it, he became a menace. “What I learned from experience when that tough guy Mike Tyson comes out, when it’s not necessary to come out, I’m always in handcuffs so I’m very careful when that guy comes out. Every time I drink or getting ready to get in a fight, I break out in handcuffs,” he admitted.

However, over the years, he has worked on himself and has made peace with the anger that resides within him. However, he is aware of the fact that it is still very much a part of him, and even he is afraid of it. “Unfortunately, I have to fight and be that guy. I wish I could stop that guy. That guy haunts me, that I wish that guy died, but he’s here to stay,” Tyson confessed. But, there is an antidote to controlling his aggression. He explained that caring for his family helps him keep his inner demons at bay.
