Boxing legend Mike Tyson has hung up his headphones – but not his gloves. In a surprising move, Tyson has announced the end of his podcast, ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson’, to fully focus on his upcoming fight with social media star Jake Paul. This highly anticipated bout, scheduled for July 20th at the iconic AT&T Stadium, has the boxing world buzzing. However, details about the fight’s format are still being ironed out.

Both Tyson and Paul are advocating for professional rules without any headgear, similar to professional matches sanctioned by boxing commissions. This decision to forego headgear has some fans worried, given Tyson’s age and Paul’s lack of professional experience. However, Tyson engaged in a fan meetup ahead of the enthralling showdown.

The video was titled, “Mike Tyson working hard for Jake Paul and spending time with fans.” This launch served as a great way for Tyson to connect with his fans, potentially boosting support for his upcoming fight against the YouTuber-turned-boxer. Capitalizing on this momentum, Tyson was also signing gloves for fans while grooving to “No Scrubs” by TLC.

Talk about multitasking! By signing gloves for fans at his recent meet and greet, Tyson managed to kill two birds with one stone: promoting the fight and giving some quality time to his supporters. But Tyson’s dedication to hyping this fight goes above and beyond fan interactions. Apparently, he didn’t crack a smile once during their recent seven-hour meeting with Paul for the Netflix promo video to maintain the intensity of their rivalry.

In the past, you and Mike have been friendly, but you weren’t friendly the whole time.

He further added, “We were there for like seven hours. There was no friendly laughing or giggling. It was like a different mode you guys were in.” Mike Tyson has a knack for marketing! Throughout his career, he’s consistently found innovative ways to generate excitement for his fights.
