The boxing lovers are well acquainted with Canelo Alvarez’s rift with the YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul. A few months back, their feud was at the peak, wherein Paul himself was on the front foot, taking digs at Canelo. However, the p4p star paid little attention to the young gun’s antics.

Despite that, ‘The Problem Child’ hasn’t stopped. Recently, Paul took it to his Twitter to mimic Canelo Alvarez. In this video, Paul enacted Alvarez’s fresh interview response where he was asked whether he would fight the YouTuber.

He said, “We don’t know, we don’t know. We never say no. So we don’t know. If he can try and keep fighting and learn and we’ll see in the future.”

“Oh, lot of things. I’m no one to say I don’t like it.”

‘The Problem Child’ wants to elevate his boxing stint by battling the best and the most renowned fighters in the business. He has expressed his interest in fighting Canelo Alvarez several times. As that fight did not happen, he took on a striker in Tyron Woodley in his last boxing encounter and even emerged victorious.

But even the casual followers of the sport want to see him go up against some skilled fighters.

The YouTuber seems eager to align himself with the elite Canelo Alvarez. However, the Mexican fighting sensation is currently seeking to become the undisputed super-middleweight king. As a result, he won’t entertain Jake Paul soon.

Is Jake Paul really ready to face Canelo Alvarez?

Jake Paul has definitely sharpened up his boxing skills, but at the moment he’s nowhere close to Alvarez’s caliber.

Canelo, a true veteran of the sport, adapts to offensive and defensive fight styles alongside maintaining his stamina. Given the experience he has, Alvarez won’t take much time to smother Jake Paul, if the duo ever collides.

All in all, as the Ohio native isn’t ready for Alvarez by any means, he should look to fight someone else and polish up his skills. Paul, too, knows that and has set a three-year plan. However, he will look to make the most of that time and market the feud well.
