Boxing has taken over cities, towns, and now the backyards! It’s no secret that people often host small backyard boxing events. However, what happens when a pro boxer gets involved? The answer is utter chaos! Something of that sort transpired when Hasim Rahman Jr. decided to take on someone who like to impersonate pop star Kanye West.

The 32-year-old boxer holds a 12-2 professional boxing record and is coming off two consecutive losses to James McKenzie Morrison in April 2022 and Greg Hardy in November 2022, respectively. In the same year, Rahman Jr. was also in the talks to fight Jake Paul, but it quickly fell apart after ticket sales proved to be less than desirable. However, his latest appearance was in the backyard boxing match, where he knocked out the ‘Ye’ impersonator. The clip of the fight was shared by Happy Punch on social media today!

As the opponents were sizing each other, the more experienced Rahman saw his opportunity and went in for the kill shot. A brutal right hand to the impersonator’s body was enough to end the fight, as the guy lay down on the canvas writhing in pain. However, Rahman could have been fighting Jake Paul at this moment.

Hasim Rahman Jr. vs. Jake Paul: A fight that could have been

Back in January of this year, rumors started to fly that Rahman could have been Paul’s next opponent. The fight against Ryan Bourland wasn’t even announced at this point. And considering Rahman and Paul were supposed to fight once before, it didn’t seem unrealistic.

This, coupled with a post from Rahman teasing a potential contract signing, had everyone convinced that Rahman would be Paul’s next opponent. However, that wasn’t the case because later that same month – Paul announced his fight against Bourland. A fight he won via first-round technical knockout.
