Watch: George Janko Relives the Time Jake and Logan Paul Lit Themselves on Fire

Jake Paul and Logan Paul are probably one of the most popular and, at the same time, controversial duo to have come out from YouTube. Gaining their initial traction through the American short-form video hosting service ‘Vine’, their YouTube career was filled with questionable choices.

To garner views, both brothers had done a variety of videos, some of which landed them surrounded by controversy and criticism. Others even had them putting themselves in danger. Recently Jake Paul appeared in an interview with George Janko where he discussed an incident where the Paul brothers potentially endangered themself for the clout.

George Janko recalls the time Jake Paul shocked him to the core

During the interview, George Janko recounted the incident stating, “Logan goes-‘Yo me and Jake are shooting this sick a** vine called ‘Liar Liar Pants on Fire’ and its ‘lit”.” Moreover, he revealed his interaction with Paul after the conversation. He revealed, “And I never forget, the second time I saw you, you were sitting down looking at me in my eyes dumping gas on you.” 

Initially skeptical, George expected a mere visual illusion, thinking, “They gonna have like a graphics team pretend there’s flames on these guys.” However, the unexpected happened as Paul set himself on fire, prompting George’s disbelief. Moreover, he further recalled how Jake Paul lit himself on fire and jumped into the pool. He shared his sheer disbelief in the situation.

However, just when Janko thought that Paul would have learned his lesson, what he said next left him shocked. He asked, “‘Was that good? or do we have to run that back?’”. The sheer recklessness of the incident left even Janko shocked. In the meantime, Janko also acknowledged his closeness with Paul.

Janko likens Jake Paul to his brother

According to George Janko, Jake Paul has transcended his internet persona to become a real-life problem solver. Despite public perception, Janko commends Paul for dealing with undisclosed challenges and expresses, “When I look at you, I see a greater man than I, truly.”

Acknowledging Paul’s silent battles, Janko noted, “I know what you had to overcome, and you did it while accompanying your friends and your family.” He witnessed people attempting to break Paul down, but Janko admired how it never shattered his character. In gratitude, Paul responded, “Thank you, we’re brothers for life.”

Transitioning from Janko’s admiration to Paul’s reflections, the YouTuber-turned-boxer emphasized his commitment to serving and uplifting others. He shared, “You try to be this evil villain. But, it’s not you bruh. But, I know who you are. I am proud to call you my friend,” concluding a heartfelt exchange between the two.
