As a result, completely fascinated, Floyd Mayweather took to his Instagram stories and celebrated his protégé’s latest victory.

Although Mayweather did not leave a message as such, the fact that he wholeheartedly applauded his boxer’s accomplishment was on full display. Undoubtedly, ‘TBE’ was proud of the manner in which his young protégé won his fight. Well, with that said, here is all you need to know about Mayweather’s 16-year-old protégé who will most certainly take the boxing world by storm in the coming days.

Floyd Mayweather certifies the excellence of the 16-year-old as he makes a memorable pro debut

The 16-year-old boxer that Mayweather currently boasts of is Joseph Brown. According to Brown’s Instagram bio, he is a WBC Muay Thai World Champion who also holds the record of the second fastest KO in amateur boxing history. In addition, Brown is a six-time Nationals champion. Recently, he squared off against a boxer named Francisco Valle in Mexico and made his professional debut. Given the brief clips that were circulated, one can see how effectively Brown used his quickness and head movement in the fight.

At one point in the fight, in close proximity, Brown demonstrated his ability to time his shots while countering Valle with a left hand to the head. In another scenario, he cornered Valle and hit the latter with a number of lead hooks. In this manner, Brown won the match via KO.
