Training footage on YouTube shows Stevenson trading blows with Anderson, who is significantly bigger than him. The fans were quick to share their views about it.

Fans react to Shakur Stevenson taking on a heavyweight fighter
FightHype uploaded a video in which 130-pound Shakur Stevenson was going toe to toe against 240-pound heavyweight boxer Jared Anderson. In the sparring footage, Stevenson could be seen punching, ducking, and blocking Anderson.
Following the upload, fans were in awe of the super featherweight champion. One fan complimented his boxing fundamentals in the comments section, as he said, “Shakur has the best fundamentals in boxing. Lovely left hand he landed.” Furthermore, they also claimed that Stevenson will “dominate everyone at 135.”
However, not everyone was impressed by Stevenson. Some fans claimed that this exercise was a waste of time. As they said, “This ain’t gone do nothing to help him against those smaller quicker guys Imao this is pointless.”

Additionally, one fan hilariously claimed that Anderson mocked Stevenson by wearing headgear for him. He said, “You know Jared reality respects shakur boxing skills cause he put the head gear on for his little a**.”
What happened in Shakur Stevenson’s last fight?
The last time Stevenson stepped inside the squared circle was against Oscar Valdez for the super featherweight unification bout on April 30, 2022. This fight had the entire boxing world on its feet.

Moreover, the American dominated Valdez throughout the fight, and became the unified super featherweight champion via decision. Additionally, Stevenson delivered the first loss of Valdez’s career and extended his own record to 18-0.
