Boxing’s only octuple world champion, Manny Pacquiao, has terrorized almost all of his opponents for over two decades. However, his outer-ring approach has scarcely been intimidating. Pacquiao’s humble gestures and friendly media interactions turned him into a fan-favorite character.
The Filipino legend, therefore, became a global phenomenon and his stardom reached a broader audience when popular US rapper Drake innovatively sampled him. Combat fans are well aware of Drake’s love for the sport as he is also a familiar face at UFC events. However, his impersonation of ‘Pac-Man’ may have been his most entertaining contribution to the fight fans.

At the 2014 ESPYs, presenter Damian Lillard took over the show before Drake made his subtle entry as Manny Pacquiao. He imitated Pacquiao’s accent, and hardly anyone could catch it. Drake even sang Frozen’s Let It Go in Pacquiao’s voice.

The US rapper said, “Sometimes people only want Manny Pacquiao to fight. All the time, I can’t fight for the rest of my life you know. I have to do different things that make me happy. So, I like to sing.”
Interestingly, Drake also copied Pacquiao’s hairstyle and beard to give fans the complete package.

While Drake offered his version of Manny Pacquiao to the fans, ‘Pac-Man’ seemingly enjoyed it. The octuple world champion, who saw all of it on his mobile, reacted hilariously.
The boxer even began singing and provided fans with another entertaining sight.
