Rolly Romero's outburst—justified or over the top? What do you think?

Former WBA super lightweight champion Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero is all set to face off against former WBC Youth lightweight champion Manuel Jaimes on September 14th at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas on the undercard of much talked about skirmish between Canelo Alvarez and Edgar Berlanga. However, days away from his big day, Romero appeared in a live stream with popular Kick streamer N3on

The controversial Kick streamer, whose real name is Rangesh Mutama, showed up at Romero’s Nemea Boxing Gym in Las Vegas earlier today, where the duo engaged in a light-hearted sparring session. As the stream progressed, they decided to head over to Dick’s Last Resort at the Excalibur Hotel. While there, Rolly Romero was completely taken aback by N3on’s polite attitude towards the waiting staff.

Before diving into Romero’s behavior in the restaurant, it’s important to understand that this restaurant is a bit unusual, which may justify his actions. Dick’s Last Resort is known for its unique approach to customer service, where rude, offensive behavior and vulgar comments are not just tolerated—they’re part of the experience. With that in mind, let’s see what happened.

N3on tried to place his order, politely saying, “Excuse me, can you call our waiter so we can order?” But Rolando Romero, ever the expert trash-talker, cut him off to demonstrate how to really order in this place. Romero snapped, “Why would you say ‘excuse me’?! Tell them to get our f**king waiter, dude!”

Sarcastically questioning Neon’s polite manners, Romero added, “What the f**k, did they raise you to do this s**t?! Dad raised you like this? Man, get our f**king waiter‼️” This exchange perfectly encapsulates the restaurant’s theme, which Trip Savy describes as, “Rude behavior, shocking statements, and genuine nastiness are exactly what you’ll get—and you’ll love it.”

While this proved to be a great distraction and break from his training, his upcoming fight might be Romero’s last chance to get his career in boxing back on track. And Romero knows that, as he emphasized the importance of the upcoming bout.

Romero plans to bounce back from ‘Pitbull’ Cruz’s knockout

Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero is determined to rebound from his knockout loss to Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz as he faces Manuel Jaimes on September 14. This fight marks Romero’s return after losing the WBA super lightweight title in March, a defeat he described as a wake-up call. “This training camp has been one of the best I’ve had,” Romero said in a press release from Swanson Communications, emphasizing his focus on refining technique and boosting mental toughness.

He’s confident that these adjustments will be key against Jaimes. “Manuel Jaimes is a tough opponent, and I’m not taking him lightly,” Romero noted, adding, “I’m coming for the knockout.” A win against Jaimes would signal Romero’s return to form and open doors for future high-profile matchups. “This fight is about making a statement and getting back in the win column,” Romero asserted, highlighting his intent to dominate.
