The go-to reaction for all fans every time Canelo Alvarez steps in to fight someone new is to doubt his ability to maintain his winning streak. For the past few months, Canelo was the heavy favorite against former IBF titlist Caleb Plant; however, many claimed that he has now reached the ‘silk robes’ phase of his career and doubted his career chances against Plant.
However, Canelo Alvarez came out last night, saw, and conquered. The Mexican champ proved to the world that literally nobody else in the sport deserves to be the p4p king.
