The primary reason for this is discipline. Alvarez and his team follow strict measures to ensure their fighters are in the best shape possible. And this was the one aspect that Ruiz Jr. struggled in.

Moreover, ‘The Destroyer’ will benefit from having the experience of the Mexican, as Alvarez has been in the ring with different types of fighters. And in a time when the heavyweight division is so exciting, it will be priceless for Ruiz Jr.
