Some people are born with the traits to become boxers, destined to dominate their opponent with an advantage God gave them. In a similar case, a clip of an amateur fighter with unusually long arms surfaced online. Intrigued by the sight, boxing fans from across the globe came together to highlight that very fact.
In a recent pinch, Overtime Boxing, a boxing-oriented social media account, shared the clip in question. There have been a lot of different types of fighters in the sport over the years! Some are extremely tall, some short, and some with other interesting traits. However, one with such long arms was a first. Here’s what happened in the clip!

Turning to Instagram, Overtime Boxing shared the clip with the caption, “Bro touching his knees standing up.” By the looks of the clip, the fight might have been an amateur one. As he strutted around the ring, waiting for his opponent to enter, his arms hung down to an inch over his knees.

The boxer appeared in the Golden Gloves qualifier held by MSG Boxing Ring Masters Championship. He goes by The Rockstar at 165 on Instagram and claims to be a coach at Starrett City Boxing. But his reach, of course, was enough to prompt the boxing fans to draw amusing parallels and come up with quips in the comments of the post.
Boxing fans don’t hold back the jabs
Since the post has gone live, several fans continued to poke fun at the boxer, similar to the caption of the post. Nearly everyone in the comments fixated on the boxer’s arms, poking fun left and right. One user suggested the boxer didn’t even need to come out of the locker room to hit his opponent. The user wrote, “Bro could hit his opponent from the locker room.”

As unusual as it was, the reach advantage for the fighter must have helped him to do some serious damage to his opponent while being far away from danger. Only one among thousands is blessed with such traits, so hopefully he can make the best of it. What did you think about the clip?
