Garcia has turned into one of boxing’s most promising young prospects. He has an undefeated record of 22-0 with 18 KO victories and will come into the fight with a win over Emmanuel Tagoe back in April. El Abejón, on the other hand, is a former world champion at the tail end of his career. He is the more experienced boxer who has competed in 41 fights and has a record of 37-3-1. He lost an interim title bout against Joseph Diaz last July but came back with a knockout victory over Rafael Hernandez in February.

The 23-year-old boxer will be the favorite to win coming into this fight and this fight is seen as a stepping stone for him to eventually face Gervonta Davis. However, Fortuna is a veteran in the sport and will be the toughest challenge in Garcia’s career since he fought Luke Campbell. Moreover, the Dominican boxer will be motivated to get an upset win at this stage of his career.
