British heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has reached the location, where Dillian Whyte and Alexander Povetkin will lock horns against each other.

The fight is set to take place in the back garden of Matchroom Sport’s headquarters in Essex with zero fan-attendance. However, some special individuals of the sport — including Anthony Joshua — will be present for the event.

Anthony Joshua is already feeling the energy. The 2012 Olympic gold medalist feels ready to “smash” anybody.

Anthony Joshua is always ready for action

Matchroom Sport posted a video of his arrival on its official Twitter handle. In the clip, ‘AJ’ said, “I am ready to fight now.”

This might be heaven on earth for the promoter, Eddie Hearn. He can materialize another blockbuster for the fans by lining up Joshua against the winner of Povetkin vs Whyte.

However, Whyte and Povetkin cannot allow Joshua’s presence to meddle with their heads. They need to concentrate on their upcoming battle at this point. That said, things can intensify if Joshua steps in the ring post-fight.

Since Whyte is currently the interim WBC heavyweight champion, a rematch between him and Joshua is not inevitable. If Whyte defends his interim strap successfully, he will hunt for a title unification bout against the winner of Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3. If not, he can set up the rematch against Joshua.

As for Alexander Povetkin, he has been the underdog throughout the buildup. However, let’s not forget that ‘The White Lion’ has all the possibilities of shocking the world tonight.

Despite being at a distance from the title race, Povetkin can advance himself in the title mix dramatically with a win against ‘The Body Snatcher’. That said, Joshua will witness two of his past rivals clash against each other. And he might have to fight one of them later.

Who do you think will tonight’s main event?
