Mike Tyson is currently training for his next fight. After making his comeback last year, the former heavyweight champion has spoken about his plans to fight in February next year. Although he has not decided who he will fight next, he will definitely enter the ring early next year.
In preparation for his fight, Tyson trains regularly. Earlier today, ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ released a workout video where he put three free-standing punching bags to the test. Tyson uploaded the video to his Instagram account to promote the bag and the company.
Although the video is a brand endorsement, Tyson goes all out on all three bags to try to knock them down or get them to move outside a square marked on the floor.

Out of the three bags, one bag lasted only for 6 seconds, as Tyson hit it with three consecutive punches. The primary punch he used on the bags was his devastating right hand. This punch is one of the most feared, and one of the most powerful punches in the sport of boxing. Another bag lasted just 12 seconds as Tyson successfully moved it out of the square marked on the ground.

The only bag that survived the ordeal was the Fight Camp free-standing bag. After the challenge, Tyson said, “Hey this is Mike Tyson, and Fight Camp is the next level of training.”
Teddy Atlas recalls Mike Tyson in his first-ever fight
Teddy Atlas went on his podcast to discuss ‘Iron’ Mike’s first-ever fight. Teddy Atlas was in the gym assisting legendary coach Cus D’Amato when Mike Tyson began training with him. At just 13 years of age, Tyson was ready to fight. “By this time he was probably up to 195lbs/200lbs, he was 13 years old I think. How am I gonna find a heavyweight [his age who will fight him]?”

He then found a 17-year-old boxer willing to fight Tyson, although they had to lie about Tyson’s age.
Atlas recalled, “The other guy’s looking to knock him out. So, within a minute, Mike made him miss and it’s over. He knocks this 17-year-old kid out…Bang, bang, bang, hitting him with combinations, three-punch combinations.”

“All of a sudden he pins him on the ropes. He hurts the guy, the guy goes against the ropes. Then he comes in, bang, he hits him with a left hook. The guy’s head goes like this [twists backwards], his body goes like this [limp] and he falls outside the ring.”
