Terence Crawford proved his mettle as he ended Errol Spence Jr.‘s undefeated streak and snatched his titles. Crawford dismantled Spence Jr. round after round, as the former champion got knocked down 3 times throughout the fight, with his final one being in the 9th round. As ‘Bud’ now bathes in all the glory from such a momentous victory, he has already been getting offers for future fights. There is a mandatory bout with Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis, and now Keith Thurman has called out Crawford.

It seems like Thurman wants to jump the line and get a shot at the title. He took to Instagram and started his message by complimenting the champion on his victory. ‘One Time’ said, “What you do is greatness, but this is your man Thurman though, you know we go back.” He promised that his face won’t look like Spence Jr. as his “feet ain’t flat”.

Thurman asked Crawford to send him a contract and claimed, “It’s time to eat, I’m hungry baby.” He has been working out at the gym in order to face Crawford. Though for now, it remains to be seen who Crawford will pick for his next opponent. However, the fans’ consensus is already out and they had a field day in reaction to the call-out.

As the video of Thurman calling out ‘Bud’ surfaced, the fans did not hold back from reacting to the video. Many pointed out the skill gap between the two fighters. While some pointed out how Thurman has remained inactive for a year and thus won’t stand a chance against Crawford. One fan, ғᴀʙʀɪᴄᴇ ᴍᴠɪᴛᴀ jokingly wrote, “Wasn’t he the one who got knocked out by Grandpa Pacquiao?”

Another fan, Eufaula Hazen claimed that Thurman “just wants a pay day.” He further pointed out his long inactivity and wrote, “In my opinion, his lack of activity doesn’t even put him in the conversation, right now. Go get a couple more notable victories against top competition, and then this might seem interesting.”

Joe shared the same sentiments as he wrote, “Obviously, he’s looking for one last big pay check! If by some long shot, he got that opportunity, he’d regret it during the fight. After, he’d be proud to have shared the ring with an ATG, and enjoy that payday.”
