In a boxing career of over 20 years, Floyd Mayweather has torn up a handful of opponents inside the ring. Baptism under fire, as they call it, ‘Money’ has handed a humbling punishment to many an individual in the sport of boxing. However, that Mayweather once spilled blood on investor-cum-magnate-cum-philanthropist, Warren Buffett is a rare story occasionally heard.
In The Pivot Podcast, accompanied by Alex Rodriguez, a former Major League Baseball player, Floyd Mayweather opened up about the time he had stained Warren Buffett’s expensive suit with blood. “Warren Buffett came to the boxing gym; we shot a commercial together, actually”. “That day I was sparring”. “I said, I’m gonna get blood on your suit.”

Floyd Mayweather and the dream that continues
Floyd Mayweather considers it to be “good” that he can call people like Warren Buffett, who is currently the fifth-wealthiest person in the world. Additionally, he believes that if individuals such as Warren Buffett and Jeff Bezos could do it, so can he.
Mayweather, who is one of the richest sports-person alive today, and who earned a “hundred-thousand-dollar” by his teenage, feels that with money comes comfort. Of course, as Mayweather says, it allows one to do whatever they want in their life.
In addition, ‘Money’ expresses that with age and experience comes growth. Undoubtedly, true to his words, Floyd Mayweather embodies the growth of the person to whom he refers.

Last year when Mayweather fought Paul in an exhibition match, he said something interesting during his post-fight ring interview. With a smile on his face, he expressed that although he wasn’t 21; it was fun while still having a fight.
Whether it be Buffett or Bezos, for Mayweather, the dream shall never fade and the spirit shall never die.
