This is not the first time Wilder has called Fury a cheater. Wilder spoke out last time, saying, ‘The Gypsy King’ put a hard object inside his gloves. He also claimed that his water bottle was laced with muscle relaxants before the fight. The fans did not take any of these accusations seriously since Fury beat Wilder fair and square in the second fight. Immediately after, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ demanded a rematch.

This trilogy match has been a long time coming and was initially supposed to go down on July 24. However, as Tyson Fury tested positive for Covid-19, the organizers pushed the bout ahead by a few weeks. Now, on October 9, the heavyweights will go against each other for the WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles.

Tyson Fury praises Deontay Wilder

Tyson Fury is aware of the power that his American foe possesses. Fury spoke about how dangerous Wilder is, as he said, “Make no mistake about this, Deontay Wilder is the most dangerous heavyweight out there. Combine them all together and they don’t make a danger like Wilder. So that’s what I’m messing with. I’m playing with an atomic bomb, messing round, clipping wires. Every time you go into the ring with Deontay Wilder you’re playing with that danger.”
