Mike Tyson, the boxing great can pass on some valuable life lessons as he has witnessed some extreme days in both glory and sorrow in his life. He had a troubled time as a teenager, but overcame everything to become a staunch boxer and reigned as the youngest heavyweight champion at 20.
This is a feat that is still untouched. However, Tyson endured his dark days again and suffered severe difficulties even after becoming a world champion. That said, the 54-year-old is no less than a philosopher.
In his recent podcast alongside WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney, Tyson poured his opinion on the human mind and the aspect of fear that we all confront.

‘Iron’ Mike said, “When you get older you realize how fragile the human mind is, and how gentle our securities and how insecure the human mind is. But it is so powerful, it wants the world but it is such afraid of himself. That’s what I never understood.”

He added, “What is it afraid of? That’s what I never understood. What is the consciousness afraid of, that doesn’t allow it to reach it’s highest potential?”
Devin Haney heard it carefully as he is walking in the same path, that Mike Tyson walked on years ago. While Tyson has achieved it all, Haney still has a long path to cover. However, he has started off well.

The undefeated WBC lightweight champion, Devin Haney, can face anyone from the looming 135 lbs roster. However, Mike Tyson seems to be interested in a fight between Haney and unified lightweight champion, Teofimo Lopez. When Lopez arrived at Tyson’s Hotboxin podcast, ‘Iron Mike face timed ‘The Dream’ and instigated a fight between them.

He did something similar between WBC Interim champion Ryan Garcia and WBA title-holder Gervonta Davis. But, nothing is final for now, and the 135 lbs roster is still jammed with alluring ideas, with no signs of their fruition.
