Manny Pacquiao has fought 72 times in his professional boxing career. Today, he is a true legend of the sport, and the world looks up to him as one. After suffering a loss to Yordenis Ugas at age 42 in August, it seems ‘The People’s Champ’ is now ready to focus on the next phase of his life.

Post-retirement from the sport, the boxing legend has now shifted his focus to helping the Filipino people. Pacquiao, who has been serving his nation as an active Senator since 2016, is well known for his humble nature, generosity, and philanthropic efforts.

A recent video shows the boxing legend helping and handing out goods and cash to citizens affected by the Taal Volcano eruption in 2020. This comes after his recent 2022 presidential candidacy announcement.

Apart from just attaining excellence inside the squared circle, ‘Pacman’ has also been serving as an active Senator since 2016.

It seems the 42-year-old is viewing this as yet another challenge in his career. Along with his announcement, he added that he is a fighter, both in and out of the ring.

I’m a fighter and will always be a fighter, inside and outside of the ring. All my life, I haven’t backed down from any fight. Nothing is impossible if it’s ordained by God,” said Manny Pacquiao.
