42-year-old Manny Pacquiao is still chasing perfection and is honing himself in every possible way before a much-anticipated return against Yordenis Ugas on August 21. Ending a hiatus that began since his last fight against Keith Thurman, this was Pacquiao’s longest layoff from the ring. However, the Filipino legend appears to have turned himself rust-free.

Beating the adversaries of his age, Manny Pacquiao took shots of wood sticks on his body. While everyone acknowledges Ugas as a hard-hitter, Pacquiao is preparing himself for the worst situation.

The eight-division world champion grunted in pain and even spoke it through eyes. However, he didn’t let that stop him from going into the distance. This might be an alarm to Yordenis Ugas, who is preparing for the biggest fight of his career. Meanwhile, this particular fight camp has been dramatic for him. After bagging a blockbuster clash against Errol Spence Jr. for the WBC, IBF, and Ring titles, Pacquiao will now only have the WBA belt up for the grabs. Spence Jr. contracted a retinal injury, which urged Ugas to be a quick replacement. But the sudden change didn’t affect Pacquiao’s mindset.
