Josh Taylor etched himself in the history books after he became only the 6th boxer to hold all four belts, and the first ever British fighter to become an undisputed champion. ‘The Tartan Tornado’ lived up to his words and achieved the biggest feat in the sport.
Taylor fought Jose Ramirez with the chance to become the undisputed champion in the junior-welterweight division. He went into the bout as the slight favorite, and he certainly delivered. He dismantled the Mexican-American fighter to win by unanimous decision.
