Victor Conte is caught up between the tussle of the Haneys and Ryan Garcia. The fans bring him up whenever there are debates and discussions surrounding the PED debacle that has overshadowed the Devin Haney vs. Garcia encounter. That’s not all. He has received unwarranted criticism for possessing “inside information,” and the fans continue to debate his role in the fiasco. But the founder of BALCO has clarified the picture for all.
Conte turned to his X handle and dished out scathing comments about the boxing podcasts. This was regarding several podcasts linking his name to ‘KingRy’s positive ostarine testing results. The 74-year-old explained the situation as “laughable.” He pointed out that most of these podcasters lacked knowledge about anti-doping policies and procedures. He then drew parallels with his lack of awareness about skydiving. Conte wrote, “When they say VADA is only a “scheduler” it exposes their lack of knowledge.”
The Fresno native then explained the difference between USADA, VADA, and UKAD. He noted that USADA was not engaged in any drug testing for professionals. UKAD had a limited panel of tests, making a distinction between “out of competition,” and “in competition.” Meanwhile, VADA tested for all substances at all given times.

It is LAUGHABLE that these Boxing Podcast CLOWNS represent themselves as being knowldegable about anti-doping policies & procedures. In short, they know about as much about anti-doping as I know about skydiving & I’m scared of heights. When they say VADA is only a “scheduler” it…

Conte wrote, “VADA tests for “all prohibited substances at all times” which is far more comprehensive and effective. You won’t find what you don’t look for. USADA, VADA & UKAD order the tests & receive test results. They hire Doping Control Officers to collect the blood & urine samples. USADA & UKAD order only a “few items” on the menu of drug tests & and VADA orders “all of the items” on the menu.”
The founder of Snac Nutrition then blasted the popular boxing podcasts for only casting suspicions to support “false claims” without providing “real facts.” He demanded, “Where is any credible evidence of wrong doing in their CLICK BAIT posts?” Conte then dragged Garcia, 26, into the mix.

Victor Conte lays down facts about Ryan Garcia
Conte continued and attracted attention to how Garcia, at 24-1, had tested twice and received a year-long suspension. He asked these boxing podcasts to show the boxing community the facts. However, he painted an alternative picture of podcasts proving fake news instead. He commented, “@ryangarcia TESTED POSITIVE TWICE & was suspended by the NYAC for a YEAR. Those are the FACTS… Where is their credible evidence of ANY WRONG DOING? Show BOXING the FACTS! They can’t because are are NONE. These Boxing Podcasts are providing mostly FAKE NEWS.”

Garcia has dismissed the claims of him intentionally ingesting ostarine and labeled the whole situation “fishy.” But the Victorville native continues to serve his ban and now intends to make the return next year. He might have to brace for the impact of the recent lawsuit slapped on him by Haney, 25. It remains to be seen how the whole situation unfolds.
