After Joe Biden ended his re-election bid, Team Davis drew an unexpected parallel between Biden and Vasyl. In sharp contrast with Republican unity certain of Donald Trump‘s nomination in the wake of the assassination bid on the same, several notable Democrats, including former President Barack Obama, advised Joe Biden to pass the torch to someone else.

At the same time, while Biden suffered from COVID, in a letter, Jared Huffman, Marc Veasey, Chuy Garcia, and Marc Pocan highlighted that “widespread public concerns about your age and fitness” were “jeopardizing” what should have been a winning campaign.

You can offer him millions, tens of millions of dollars—if he doesn’t have motivation, he’s not ready to prepare for the fight,” Egis Kilmas concluded.
