Is Lomachenko's career on the decline, just like Biden's political journey? What are your thoughts?

Team Gervonta Davis is not done with Vasyl Lomachenko! After Joe Biden ended his re-election bid, Team Davis drew an unexpected parallel between Biden and Vasyl. In sharp contrast with Republican unity certain of Donald Trump‘s nomination in the wake of the assassination bid on the same, several notable Democrats, including former President Barack Obama, advised Joe Biden to pass the torch to someone else.

At the same time, while Biden suffered from COVID, in a letter, Jared Huffman, Marc Veasey, Chuy Garcia, and Marc Pocan highlighted that “widespread public concerns about your age and fitness” were “jeopardizing” what should have been a winning campaign.

On the other hand, Trump, who has been compared to the 26th President Theodor Roosevelt, during his acceptance speech, taking one hit after another, claimed Biden exceeded the ten worst US presidents in terms of damage done to the US. So now, in light of his deflated image, considering the future of the Democratic Party, the 81-year-old stepped down to endorse the presidential nomination of Vice President Kamala Harris.

While Gervonta Davis vs. Vasyl Lomachenko was at a discussion stage, among others, Stephen A. Smith was greatly concerned about Lomachenko’s fate against Davis. Although Smith understood that Lomachenko’s punches contained power, he was not sure if that was sufficient against Davis. So, when it was official that Lomachenko was not facing ‘Tank’ this year, Team Davis assumed the Ukrainian boxer had given in to fear. However, Egis Klimas, Loma’s manager, argued otherwise.

Loma is not in the mood right now. He doesn’t have the motivation at the moment. He’s taking off. He wants to spend more time with the family,” said Kilmas. As per Kilmas, Vasyl Lomachenko is not bothered about money. “He doesn’t take anything just because of money. You can offer him millions, tens of millions of dollars—if he doesn’t have motivation, he’s not ready to prepare for the fight,” Egis Kilmas concluded.
