It’s the night of the nights at the venue of all venues. In front of over 90,000 excited, roaring fans, Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois will battle for the IBF title. This is one of the year’s most anticipated boxing events, made possible with the support of Riyadh Season. Thanks to the collaboration between Frank Warren, Eddie Hearn, and His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, it promises to be a memorable night for scores of fans.
In addition to the main event, the show offers an array of splendid undercard fights and spectacular entertainment, including a live performance from Oasis. For all those unable to make it to the venue, there’s good news: they can stream the fight through pay-per-view, all for $19.99. What more a fan could have asked for? Lest they miss out on the golden opportunity to watch one of the year’s best showdowns, Rick Glaser urged fans to spruce up and purchase the PPVs.
Applauding HE Alalshikh, Glaser said, “Today at 10:30 pm Est #Boxing is starting to get the full effect of @Turki_alalshikh efforts to bring Boxing back to the masses at just 19.99 for the Joshua-Dubois fight!!!” Highlighting how the showdown plays out in front of a jam-packed house, the New York State Boxing Hall of Fame (NYBHOF) inductee gave a loud call out: “Buy this PPV, you cheap Bastard’s!!!“

The news about the steep fall in the pay-per-view prices of the Riyadh Season events took many by surprise. Especially considering the fact that only last week, the boxing world witnessed the high-profile Canelo Alvarez-Edgar Berlanga headliner, where the PPV was priced at $89.99.
Explaining his future plans for boxing in an interview with talkSPORT, HE Alalshikh made it clear, “I dream of a pay-per-view with a good price to make the fans happy and subscribe and get them to watch it legally.” Highlighting the menace of illegal stream piracy, he stressed the kind of challenges it posed for not only boxing but also for various platforms.
“What I will try to push is to have our Riyadh Season shows at less than £20 in England and less than $20 around the world. I would prefer to have one million fans subscribe and buy the PPV for £20 than less than 500,000 [for £40],” the head of Riyadh Season further added.

Riyadh Season’s commitment to affordable pay-per-view prices doesn’t stop with the Joshua-Dubois fight. The light heavyweight champions will meet at Riyadh’s Kingdom Arena on October 12. So for the show, it appears, the UK-based fans may have to shell out just £15. Likewise, $15 could be the price American followers might need to pay to watch the fight.
His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has declared that he wants to lower boxing PPV prices to £20 in the UK/$20 worldwide and said the Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol PPV will be £15 UK/$15 worldwide on Oct 12th: “People [watch] illegally because the price is high. This is in the…
