The sport of boxing has some exciting fights lined up this year. Young Ryan Garcia is scheduled to take on Gervonta Davis later next month. The undisputed Super Middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez makes his return this summer. Not to mention, a potential Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk Heavyweight clash, even though the negotiations halted recently. And just to make the sport more exciting than it already is, Devin Haney will take on Vasiliy Lomachenko on May 20th of this year. Both fighters are one of the best pound-for-pound boxers and a bout between the two was long due. The two will make sure to put it all on the line and give the fans a show worth their money.

However, Paul Malignaggi is not a fan of this match-up. The former Welterweight boxer retired from professional boxing in 2017 but still competes in the Bare-Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). According to him, Haney should be fighting him and not Lomachenko. Fans had interesting reactions to Malignaggi’s comments.
