The makers of the “Creed” film series want to have an accurate representation of the sport in their films. It is the primary reason why Alvarez was cast to play the role of a Mexican boxer. Due to this Baumgardner can secure a role in the next series of the film and maybe even the role of Michael B Jordan’s daughter.

How much revenue has “Creed III” generated?
“Creed III” has had one of the biggest openings of all time. It appears that the third sequel of the film has more box office money on the opening weekend than every other Rocky movie combined. As per “Secret Rant”, Creed III earned $22.8 million just in their opening weekend.
Going by the numbers, the “Creed” series might very well have the same impact as the “Rocky” series. Though, when adjusted with inflation, the “Rocky” movies made way more money than the “Creed” series.

Either way, The success of the film benefits the sport and the athletes in it. If Baumgardner does land a role in the film it would assist her in becoming a household name.
