The current WBC champion Tyson Fury is one of the greatest heavyweights to have ever played the sport. He has been trained by his father John Fury all his life, and the father-son duo considers themselves to be the best in the business.

Although John Fury hates to poise anyone over his son in boxing, he still considers a young Mike Tyson to be the deadliest. Despite having so many elites in the heavyweight division, the 56-year-old claimed that a young Mike Tyson can beat anyone and everyone.

However, he didn’t compare Tyson with his son. He compared Mike Tyson with Vitali Klitschko and comfortably picked ‘Iron’ Mike over Klitschko. That said, many might disagree with the notion. Yet, John Fury appeared confident while making his pick amongst the heavyweight greats.

Tyson Fury’s father picks Mike Tyson as the ‘OG’

The Twitter handle of Boxing Social has recently posted a small clip-on Fury’s recent statement, sending the fight fans into a frenzy.

While he was asked to pick between Mike Tyson and Vitali Klitschko, the former boxer said, “A young Mike Tyson beats them all.  He was like a bolt of lightning. The young Tyson, not the older Tyson when he got abused. A young Mike Tyson of the late ’80s. Mike Tyson would have destroyed anybody.”

Meanwhile, Tyson will get inside the boxing ring again on November 28. He will take on the former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition fight.
