There has been more drama after the Vasyl Lomachenko and Teofimo Lopez unification bout on October 17. Fellow Ukrainian boxer Ivan Redkach took to Twitter to express his opinion on his compatriot.
The welterweight fighter, whose boxing record stands at 23-5-1 with 18 knockouts, didn’t hold back his comments about fellow Ukrainian, Lomachenko.

Days after Teofimo Lopez defeated Lomachenko, Redkach posted a video on his Twitter. In the video, Redkach is stacking his money accompanied with the caption, “Never played, never made bets. I just have a wild love for Loma, I hate him as a person and many who live in Ukraine hate him as much as he is a good fighter.”

The southpaw boxer who is an outspoken character didn’t mince his words, even claiming that many people in Ukraine don’t like him as a person. Redkach gave Lomachenko the credit for his fighting but made no secret of the fact that they aren’t friends.

“El Terrible” posted a picture on his Instagram to give his opinion on the fight. In his caption, he wrote, “Vasyl, Papachenko, and even promoters played, believing that Vasyl is an unbeaten Boxing God, as we all have seen, it is not so. While talking about the rematch, he said, “He won’t be able to retake and more is needed, He should go down in category and win all the belts there.” He also said that if there was a rematch, Lopez would knock out Lomachenko. “There will be a quick knockout for him, this time the kid won’t be careful with him, and (he) will be brutally beat.”
