Floyd Mayweather made boxing look quite smooth and easy, during the blockbuster exhibition in Japan. The 45-year-old proved why he is one of the greatest fighters of all time. The champ’s hands remain lethal still, years after the retirement. His opponent, Mikuru Asakura, 30, felt it when he squared off with him inside the ring. After hitting a few body punches, Asakura gained some confidence, but it was short-lived as Mayweather unleashed his combinations on the Japanese opponent and knocked him out in quick succession.

The event turned out to be a big success. Fans enjoyed it and cheered for the legendary boxer. But an incident just before the bell took everyone by surprise. A man, in a typical Japanese outfit, walked in the ring with a bouquet. Initially, it seemed he would give it to Mayweather as a kind gesture, but instead, he dumped them at the champ’s feet and left the ring.
