WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has apparently found Dillian Whyte as his next ‘dance-partner’ and the pair is likely to settle their years of hatred in an in-ring affair shortly. After defending his WBC strap against Deontay Wilder in October 2021, ‘The Gypsy King’ seems ready to put it on the line against ‘The Body Snatcher’.

It can be another instance of a classic boxer going against a vicious puncher, similar to what we see in the Fury-Wilder trilogy. Per reports, Queensberry promotions put on a record-breaking $41 million purse-bid to secure the bout. However, it doesn’t appear to have received official confirmation yet. At least that’s what the ongoing banter between Tyson Fury and Eddie Hearn suggests.

Turning to social media, Fury wrote, “This man is a clown. You boys are the 1s that may not take the fight. Sign the contract big boy.”

Eddie Hearn is currently managing Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua, two prime fighters of the ongoing title race. That said, both of them are lacking world championships, and need to win their upcoming fights at any cost.

Tyson Fury is controlling the entire heavyweight motion

Before Dillian Whyte’s name came into the foray, Fury flirted with the chances of facing Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed title fight. It left Anthony Joshua with a chance to accept $20 million and step aside from his possible rematch against Usyk and let the champion face Tyson Fury in an undisputed clash.
